@evelynlinda9.bsky.social Thanks for your feedback! I am glad you find our analysis insightful. Biologicals are a complementary solution to traditional inputs, so a hybrid model is expected, in which large incumbents "outsource" part of their R&D and exploration strategies to smaller firms.

From a business perspective, our study shows that incumbent input firms are facing a transition that challenges their business-as-usual scenario. These companies are exploring to find the right balance between their core business and these new products based on living organisms and natural extracts.
