If there's one thing i know for certain, a mayor whose vision is lower taxes lacks the forsight required of the role.

intergenerational facial recognition is fascinating. I see it in bees too!

I've been trying to befriend
crows for months. They're very skittish and it takes patience but my end goal is to have a murder for company and defence when I am on walks or rides alone 😀

I grew oranges in my office window before covid. The tree gave me 4 oranges dispite being under 2ft high and braving a very cloudy winter in a west-facing window the last year of its life. Citrus does surprisingly well in containers.

Cycle-track in central Copenhagen.

Cycle-track in central Copenhagen.

“While Mayor, I was often asked ‘how have you been able to afford bike-lanes in #Copenhagen?’ I’d reply, ‘how have you been able to NOT afford it? 25 years ago we were a few days away from going bankrupt. So the city invested in the cheapest infrastructure… bicycling.’” — @mortenkabell.bsky.social

imports of fossil fuels

imports of fossil fuels

I was surprised that Canada imports 438,000 barrels of refined petroleum products daily, half of which goes into the gas tanks of cars in Ontario and eastern provinces. If Doug Ford was truly "Cap'n Canada" he would promote bikes and getting people out of cars instead of ripping up bike lanes.

Explaining in Five Paragraphs the Scam Donald Trump Just Pulled on 150 Million American TikTok Users Make no mistake, one of the most popular apps in the world was just down in the U.S. for 14 hours because Donald Trump ordered that it be taken down. Why? So he could be seen as a hero in “saving” it.

I hope this helps clear up what just happened. It is short, free, and sourced.

I am a proud New Democrat but there are moments when we must put country first.
Trump's inauguration poses a serious threat.
Canadians deserve a plan, not political brinkmanship.
I will go back to Parliament to try my best.
I will not vote with Pierre Poilieve as it risks advancing his toxic agenda.

Our European friends say thank you to British rail privatisation for all their rail savings.
Our European friends say thank you to British rail privatisation for all their rail savings. YouTube video by Labour Heartlands

All we have to do is look at the absolute misery that is the US Postal Service not to mention train service. When will people realize that privatization of public services just doesn’t work? This ad was spot on. youtu.be/HScWSuCag-U
