After several years of being stuck and then unstuck, and 9-10 months of drafting, Sins of Survival is done...for now.

It goes out to my team later this week, and the editor in November and I'm so excited but also absolutely exhausted.

I would like to order 1 3-day coma plz.

Put on Jurassic Park for drafting background noise, and knocked out an almost 2k chapter in just over an hour.

5 chapters to go, and then I can shoot this baby off to beta readers and sleep for a week.

Did I write a new chapter? yes
Was it technically supposed to be part of the last chapter...so I still have 7 to go? Also yes.

Acquired a new dope orange cardigan so OBV I'm curled up in it tonight while I draft.

I mean, how could I not hang out in it immediately? IM WEAK

7 chapters to go and I'm supposed to go to the beach this weekend, which means spending half of my night prepping for that.

I'm gonna squeeze in writing time this weekend if I have to go hide under a bed and type under the covers I swear.

I haven't been this deep into a draft since spring of 2021.
I started writing Sins in early 2021, and since then it has been a singular obsession that has haunted my time.
In November it goes to the editor.

Today was exhausting and almost my *entire* take from OUAC just had to go towards a new laptop bc my PC was having so many issues today I had to leave work early and have a panic attack about it.
