I haven’t been allowed in the room to speak with Schlossberg, Conway, Lasher, Bores—even though I’m also running for Congress in NY12.
But I won’t stop speaking about what I believe in, like standing against Trump’s senseless wars.

I just published a scientific article in PLOS Digital Health that explains if we don’t regulate AI in medicine, it’s just going to further drive inequality.

Our end-of-month deadline is coming up, and every dollar helps us reach the voters who haven’t made up their minds yet.
Graphic announcing that Nina has doubled her numbers and is the only woman and LGBTQ+ candidate ranking in the poll.
New numbers just dropped! We’ve doubled our support in less than a month, and 28% are still undecided.
Our campaign is powered by people and now we need to scale it.

Let’s get into it.
Join me tomorrow, Wednesday (4/22), 6–7pm EST for Inside Track with Nina — a virtual town hall series where we go behind the scenes on the issues shaping this race.
This week’s topic: Money & Politics — fighting the corrupt pay-to-play system.
Another deadly decision by the Trump administration. This will put our troops directly in harm’s way.
Last week I was not invited to a candidate forum at @92ndstreety.bsky.social because the price of admission is $1M.
So here’s the stage instead: four men, no women, deciding who gets heard.
When access is gated by money, lack of representation becomes a choice.
Despite being nominated by Trump, I hope your experience in expanding vaccine access and your qualifications in science will help power you through the certainly difficult conversations to come.
You have the ability to fight back to Trump and his cronies and I urge you to use this position for good.
Congratulations on your nomination as CDC Director, Dr. Schwartz, an incredibly important role.
The CDC guides this country through low vaccine uptake, fighting misinformation, and improving health for all.
I hope my younger self can see this and feel proud. Today is my 60th birthday and I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported me and been with me on this journey.
I’m running for Congress to build a better future for us all.

Guess who’s turning 60 on Saturday? Yes, it’s me!
I’m marking the milestone with purpose, and I’d love your support in helping me get to Congress. If you’re able, please consider contributing: $6, $60, $600, or $6000.
Every bit counts. Thank you so much.

No one should have to suffer because they can't afford to see a doctor. No one with a life-threatening illness should receive less care than a billionaire simply because of their bank account.
This is the America I'm fighting for. This is why I'm running.
Measles was effectively banished from the United States more than 20 years ago. Yet, only three months into the year, outbreaks are ripping through our universities and schools.
This is an emergency. My latest for @telegraph.co.uk:

$1 million dollars to get into this democratic forum…Yes, really. I didn’t have that, so they didn’t let me participate.
The result? Four men on stage. But I didn’t give up, pulled up some chairs just outside to talk to the people I’m running to serve.

So instead of staying silent, I showed up outside the venue with my supporters to speak directly to people. I brought two chairs with me, so anyone could sit and talk to me, ask me questions.
Democracy shouldn’t be a boys’ club, and it shouldn’t be bought. It belongs to all of us.

Yesterday, I was not allowed to participate in the 92NY Democratic Forum because I didn’t raise $1 million dollars.
The result? An all-male stage. That’s not just disappointing, it’s a problem. Is it really all about money?

This is what democracy looks like. Speaking truth to power.

Three years into the war in Sudan, 14 million people have been forced to flee their homes. That’s a quarter of the population.
This war has to stop.
Yes, I will be a first year congressperson. I’m a Public Health PhD with 40 years of experience.
Congress doesn’t need another career politician, it needs more expertise in health care—the largest spending category in our federal budget.
That’s where I come in. That’s where I make an impact.
Other countries cap campaign spending for a reason. I’ll push for that here too.
But it’s not just annoying, it’s unfair. When campaigns can spend endlessly on mailers and ads, candidates without billionaires or broligarchs backing them get drowned out before they even have a chance. Name recognition drives polling, and polling decides who gets on the stage.
