Across two studies, we integrated social scientific literatures on U.S. Latine ID and politics to consider how (1) the Latine community’s racial & motivational heterogeneity and (2) the sociopolitical connotations & historical fluidity of whiteness might have shaped Latine voting in 2020 and 2024.
