Very pleased to have both a story, "Heathman Ldg", and a collection (Good Night, Sleep Tight) on Locus's Recommended Reading List! Lots of great work here! Take the poll and vote if you're interested.

I'm very sorry to hear it. I liked Michael, and thought his poetry was terrific and surprising. He will be missed.

Book Review: Good Night, Sleep Tight by Brian Evenson Good Night, Sleep Tight by Brian Evenson  256 pages, Paperback Published September, 2024 by Coffee House Press Do I start by repeating...

Scary bedtime stories for those who have the best taste in dark literature. The story Imagine a Forest might be the best science fiction short story I have read in a long time. Evenson is a master of short stories.

The Best Horror of the Year, Volume Sixteen.

The Best Horror of the Year, Volume Sixteen.

Just arrived! Very pleased to have the latest year of Ellen Datlow's excellent anthology series, and even more pleased to have a story ("The Teeth") in it, as well as Stephen Graham Jones's "Lover's Lane" which I originally published in an issue of McSweeney's I guest-edited!
