I've never been that good at pulling strings
There's an article in the Guardian about the intrinsic value of things.
We bought a doorstop 5 years ago. It's still in its box. The box acts as a doorstop kept in place by the weight of the doorstop inside. Turns out intrinsic value is complicated.
When you're young, you hate it when they ask you for proof of age, but later in life your hate it when they don't!

Aspiring writers out there should be aware of an email scam purporting to be from Laini Taylor (bestselling novelist). An AI seems to have used data from my published book and my musical background to construct an apparently flattering email, wanting to learn more.
