Nah. Those people were brought in under the guise of "labour shortages". When they're gone the businesses will lobby for other forms of wage suppression. In addition to the public service we are seeing mass layoffs with things like HBC closing and thousands in university and colleges being laid off.

Thousands of public service lay offs have already happened. They just did it through shorter term contracts and not refilling the positions.

We will see but I suspect that this is overly optimistic.
