I'm not mad at them and love em but they will never stop doing that.
And I've met new people who don't do that and I see the difference. It's okay to try and give everyone some chances but not everyone will come the other way around the way you want every time, yknow?

I think a lot of fiction and hollywood has conditioned us to think "never give up on someone!" and whilst that's true relationships are a two-way road.
This is coming from someone who has actively tried to include people in my life and they just...disappear.

PD: There's not enough time to spend it with people who make things far too complicated.
You can be there for them and you don't have to be angry and they can even be your friends/family and you can ahve a healthy relationship.
But don't waste time trying to close the gap when it's impossible.

This isn't some "screw you all!" comment but rather some tacit acceptance I noticed as I've become an adult. If someone wants to be part of your life, stick with them. If you try and they actively distance and ghost you? Chances are this is the dynamic they want. And that's fine.(2/2)

I've learned recently to accept the distance some people decide to consciously make, whether friends or family and let it happen.
Not everyone needs to be close or important and once you do have people who care about you and see you and hear you and don't abandon you, you see the difference (1/2)

As someone who's a backend dev for about 10 years and tried gamedev, it's a very different structure but transversal knowledge does apply like good methodologies and clean organization.
Every single game engine is it's own pain in the ass in its own way though! And you kinda get used to it lol
