Idk the answer but it just seems so off to have internationals in April when the club season is coming to its final games and UWCL finals and semis are on the horizon. The men’s game got rid of the April internationals years ago for this reason.

Arsenal have benefitted from own goals in each of their last three WSL games and all pretty much the same way, dangerous low crosses from close to goal. Issues with low blocks very much a thing of the past, lots of fluidity and chance creation.

We often focus so much on negative points that we miss positive changes. Important to stop and take note of these things.
And fans really need to decide if they want the team to have the cutthroat winning mentality and whatnot everyone keeps talking about or if they want their fave to be happy.

Big effort needed next week now. Feel the first goal was essentially unlucky and down largely to the pitch. Second goal was very poor though and a concern that Arsenal keep conceding from turnovers and transitions. The second goal is a big blow and it was very avoidable.

Real Madrid’s men’s team last played at the Bernabeu on 9 March, they play again at home on 29 March. They have a state of the art retractable pitch with greenhouse environment under it. Yet, the women’s team are playing on this shit surface. Give me strength.

Tigres just posted a new angle of Jacquie Ovalle’s goal, and it’s as magical as you’d expect.

She also made two outstanding defensive clearances in the game, the first one was so difficult too cos it was difficult to get contact without scoring an own goal. There is a reason she plays pretty much every minute of every game.

Spoke to Renee, she talked about going a bit more direct in the second half and how the best teams aren’t afraid to find different ways to win. It’s my favourite thing about her management, I think too many coaches think the team should serve their philosophy rather than vice versa.
