Most of your beautiful quotes are authentic, but this one definitely is'nt. Not a shame, there's many nice Daoist quotes that aren't actually in the Dao De Jing. But you have to be very careful, the Gengis Khan quote for example is very unlikely to have been really said by him, even if it could have

The Book of Five Rings is really recommandable indeed. Somewhat comparable whith Sun Tzu's Art of War, in the way it exploits psychology as the way to win the battle. I sometimes like to say that for example soccer teams could win more games, if only they would acknowledge the role of the mind

Thanks! Ads must be extremely annoying indeed, but for myself I use Firefox with an ad blocker. Works fine, no ads. There are several ad blockers available and with browsers like Chrome it might work as well, I don't know about that

I think it's Chase Hughes who says that we don't seek happiness as much as to avoid discomfort. Putting issues like hunger, fatique or lust aside, maintaining succesfull social relations is what's most important to happiness as you point out. But it's also an infinite source of discomfort
