Related, if I know you in person, even if we're not close friends, I host monthly open invite dinner parties at my house to build more community! I have a mailing list and an Eventbrite signup where anybody can invite themselves until our table is full. Ping me for the Google Group mailing list. :)

I can either share to the world or I have to reach out to a bunch of people individually or in small groups in a ton of different channels. None of the new social media is based on people I actually know.
I don't want to invite the whole world to a dinner party at my house!
I feel like I complain about this a lot but I'm still annoyed that I don't have a good way to connect with friends and acquaintances that doesn't involve a dozen text threads and bulk emails now that Facebook is dying.
Google was asking them what they're calling about and Libby, an AI assistant for a children's bouncy castle place we went to two years ago, asking about my kid's plans for their next birthday.
We're living in the worst future...
I appreciate the call screening on my Google Pixel. But I just got a call recording where two "AI's" talked over each other for the whole thing.
Saw One Battle After Another with my dad at the Cinerama (Ok, SIFF Cinema Downtown) today and had a lot of fun. It was really good and I missed that theater and watching movies with my dad. It's been a while.

Like Julio Rodríguez today, the last definitive *infield hit* that scored TWO runs by a Mariners player I could find was Michael Saunders on May 22, 2014 vs. HOU.
Both Julio & Saunders’ hits:
• 7th inning
• 2 outs
• Broke tie game
• Challenged by opposing manager (unsuccessfully)

A neighbor of mine actually turned their back deck into a stage a few years back and they were doing small backyard summer concerts for a while. It was my favorite thing.
Thirty-three days ago, we released Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Since then, we’ve sold 3.3 million copies.
Seriously. As of today.
We couldn’t make that up.

Concerning news related to decreasing reproductive healthcare access right here in Seattle. This is a loss for our community.
Yeah, I would argue the vast bulk of even new games aren't like that. But a good portion of the money being made in games probably is related to that unfortunately...

The Pike Place Market Historical Commission is keeping a newly renovated park closed simply because of its own power trip.
Seeing reports of a fire at the Magnuson Theater from the Community Center in the same building. Hope everything is ok with Broadway Bound Children's Theater.
My almost 5 year old found this on my shelf and I was a bit uncertain about him playing it since it was so GTA like but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. And he's really enjoyed it for the silly LEGO side.

You steal cars but apologize for it and when you crash into somebody in a hit and run you yell out the window that you'll be back later with your insurance info.

Going to do a thread of all the neighborhood groups in Seattle trying to get the neighborhood center near them proposed in the draft One Seattle plan taken out.
For context, new neighborhood centers would be mixed-use zoning surrounded by increases in allowed residential density for a few blocks.
Sounds amazing but now I need to know more about his policies. My in-laws moved to Anacortes a few years ago so now I'm there a lot. 🤣
