Marvel is failing to learn what I think is THE lesson of the MCU in the 2020s: audiences don’t like it when keeping up with the franchise feels like homework.
With the help of the Sandy Hook families, The Onion has reached a long-awaited deal to take over InfoWars.
We've enlisted the help of @timheidecker.bsky.social, who will be InfoWars' Creative Director.
Please stand by for more.

Oh, word? It's that easy? Get these #Mets bigger and better mirrors!

Binged both seasons of The Pitt over the course of the past week, and couldn’t quite put my finger on why something so anxiety-inducing still felt like a comfort watch. This nailed it for me:
Write for yourself before all others. Is it true to you and what you want to say? Does it flow? Then stress test it. Is it too long? Does it take too long to get to the point? Do you need to kill some of your darlings? Is there space for someone to blow up your argument?
Never forget birthday boy Tim Curry's disco heat in Paradise Garage. A forever bop.

At least there's that.
I turned it on just as MJ Melendez' home run was heading out and allowed myself some hope but Williams blew it in the 9th. Conforto twisted the knife.
At least the #Mets are finding new and interesting ways to lose. 11 straight. Much-needed off day tomorrow. For them and us. #LGM
S2 of #ThePitt captures the assualt on empathy and mental health in our chaotic reality as its doctors wrestle with the helplessness of wanting to save everyone (including themselves) but not being able amidst a storm of trauma, stress, and uncertainty

The last two seasons of The Office were the best worst seasons of any modern sitcom.

I did not realize the intrinsic connection between myself and the success or failure of this team. And that's on me.
I work in IT, which is the reason our house has: - mechanical locks - mechanical windows - routers using OpenWRT - no smart home crap - no Alexa/Google Assistant/... - no internet connected thermostats Tech Enthusiasts: Everything in my house is wired to the Internet of Things! I control it all from my smartphone! My smart-house is bluetooth enabled and I can give it voice commands via alexa! ! love the future! Programmers/ Engineers: The most recent piece of technology I own is a printer from 2004 and keep a loaded gun ready to shoot it if it ever makes an unexpected noise.
I have tickets in a few weeks. Hopefully theres a team left to salvage
There are a lot of similarities in the head down, grit through it nature of #ThePitt s2 and what it's like to live in America right now. Awful things happening in the periphery, people navigating their own anxiety and untreated trauma. Wrote about it for @pajiba.com

Feel like they need something that's a larger shock to the system than just bumping up the new bench coach. Someone like Beltran would check that box.
I am the black cat billy goat of the new century. Clearly.
They miss me. I get it.
If Steve Cohen would like to give me money to afford New Jersey/NY rent prices, I will happily come lift the apparent curse launched by my absence.
The #Mets had the best record in baseball the last time I went to Citi Field on June 14, 2025. I moved down to North Carolina 2 days later. The Mets are 45-69 since that game.
Getting hard to not feel personally responsible. #LGM
