Angus loved those compound coinages, but this doesn’t sound like one in his reading: there’s a pause between the words, even the hint of a comma. So it’s two words here.

As I write this, though, “longdim” is growing on me. (2/2)

The copyist has “long” and “dim” very close together, arguably abutting. The descender of the g doesn’t continue in a stroke to begin the d, which seems like thin evidence for separation.(1/2)
