Lamingtons appeared in one of my local bakeries and oh! I forgot how delicious they are in the morning.

Spring has arrived and with it the perennial craving to wear platform shoes so tall that I tower over men and mortals and can kiss the tops of trees without tilting my chin.

Today I participated in an art project in which my toddler took progressively bigger and bigger spoons out of our silverware drawer—starting with a baby teaspoon and ending with a serving spoon—in an effort to convince me that he CAN AND SHOULD eat fifth yogurt today, mama.

This morning Chaos Child slammed the living room door with me and @padnick.bsky.social on the other side, then opened the door long enough to throw his diaper through, then slammed it again.
