Mr. Schumer, many of us here would vote to abolish I.C.E. if we had a vote in the matter. The real problem is with you folks that run the government for the regime. Convince people who have a vote; people like Fetterman and others.

A truly great opinion piece in the NY Times, blaming just about every one of today's problems on old people. Seems like we old people are a problem because we vote, work, and live in houses.
Today is the 112th anniversary of the Ludlow Massacre, when Colorado Miners and their families were shot dead, and burned alive in their tent dwellings after being evicted from their homes for going on strike.

Older folks might remember all the hype about a 5th Column - an inside organization aiding an outside enemy power. Here, i. the USA, the 5th Column is the regime in power.
The great shambles of the world war did not take place without the blessing of priests. Chaplains of all armies prayed and celebrated drumhead masses for victory for the side whose bread they ate.

If there was an eternal afterlife and people hike him were in it, I'd skip it. I'd rather oblivion, or even cleaning Satan's toilet.

If you say so. For a famous guy, it smacks of mediocrity, like people reading their stuff at a poetry slam. But hey, poetry is a destructive force.

Vote by mail? I live 20 miles away from Schenectady, ny. I sent a birthday card to a friend there. 9 days later he called and said he just got it. If you are planning to vote by mail, don't expect your vote to be counted.
Meanwhile, bleeding hearts an hour or two north, near Saratoga. What a difference.

Too bad you don't live around here. There's folks down the road around here that sell them cheap. There's also a lot of doctors that will do just about anything the insurance companies tell them to do for a dollar.
I had a ton of their book editions for years and years.
All the more reason to fight for total abolishment of I.C.E. Wasting time with "reforms" makes no sense.
Also from that same period of time, "the Simulacra" by PKDick. The president is an android, married to the real ruler.
We, We. You speak wonderful French, but I don't have a vote. You should try convincing your fellow senators.
Do you think you can even get Fetterman to vote with you this time? I doubt it.
A favorite poet of mine (Don Marquis) once said writing a book of of poetry is like dropping a rose petal into the grand canyon and waiting for the echo.
I find it hilarious that the Anus Emeritus sells indulgences to convicted criminals and then says some Pope guy is soft on crime.
For sure, everyone in media, professional and semi-professional, pro-regime, or anti-regime, seems to depend on the guy for their paychecks.
