CSIS cultivates and influences far right organizations to suppress Leftist politics in Canada, undermining the Trudeau government with "intelligence leaks" during the EA Inquiry to falsely imply Chinese state influence and conceal its internal far-right, racist, US worshiping internal culture.

sometimes i go to a diner to work and then forget that i'm looking at reference photos of gross fungus or dead things when the server comes by and then feel awkward
All those "show us what you looked like ten years ago" or "show your green art/animal art/art of women" memes are being used to train AI

but today, the ritual gives no comfort
I am experiencing what I can only describe as a generalized malaise and without knowing what's contributing to it I don't know what to do about it or how to prevent it getting worse.
Not pleased about having to yell at my doctor for an ADHD med prescription refill on top of everything else this week.
adhering to the classic american stereotype of course
what's jarring about americans acting like americans?
probably why she threw up in the runabout
Gamers! My pal Ross Isaacs — former Star Trek RPG developer for Last Unicorn and Decipher — is still facing horrible health issues and is in danger of having his phone and electricity shut off. He's also been forced to cancel essential medical procedures.

No, I think you're dramatically underestimating the number of people in America who want a proper healthcare system
i can see the US on a clear day. there was a battle here the last time they invaded.
but in a world in which the US has ICBMs no one is a faraway observer of US politics
half the time i'm doing the same gestures too
it's not left, that's the point: it's exactly the kind of anti-'elite,' pro-healthcare-reform position which is the kind of synthesis position a hypothetical median voter would have
then why haven't they killed any healthcare CEOs?
Anyway it's 10pm and I'm stuck between trying to nap in the hope that I wake up enough to work or... idk if I had the mental resources to force myself to do anything right now, would I be posting things here?
Anyway I could use some help with cash this week ko-fi.com/O4O8CAE3
just write the terrible version first so you can iterate on what's terrible about it
TLDR i have to go to the studio and work tonight but i feel like shit and being alone in a studio midnight-6am probably isn't going to help with that
are *any* elected dems left of centre in comparison to the overall american populace?
someone who was better at working out pieces on paper might do better than me at this, but there's a point at which a new pencil mark won't be darker than the build-up from all the erased marks that came before it
The days when I need reminders of what time it is the most are also the days in which that gets me closer to a panic attack, and the problem with working in my particular creative field is that even sub-attack fear or worry just interferes with actually finishing anything
One of the problems with the night — which is, I think, one of the reasons people with ADHD do tend to like it — is that there's ultimately less going on. The downside to that is that there's fewer external reliable signals to break through my time blindness, and my automated ones aren't great
But in all the years of my life I haven't found a good way of maintaining that. Instead, it usually semi-stabilizes in the opposite time frame, and it's always a crapshoot actually getting started on a solid day of work at 9pm.
The thing is often when I *am* waking up at some sort of circadian-adjacent time (between 4am 10am after 7.5-9 hrs of sleep) my brain tends to work pretty well. Definitely better than it's doing now.
...and that the other (the actually going to sleep one) is just batted around like a pinball with no pattern other than when my body gets too tired to keep itself awake
A theory I have is that there's a fundamental disconnect between two parts of my brain that trigger/manage sleep functions, and that one (the grogginess one) works on regular circadian schedule (with a little extra spike of awakeness at 11-4am)...
Sometimes it persists for me for 10-12 hours after I've woken up. Just drowsiness, grogginess, all the cognitive symptoms of being tired without it actually meaning i need to sleep more. (Usually trying to sleep more -> I just lay in bed, awake)
