I get that diplomatic protocols/political relations probably meant that New Zealand PM had little choice and had to fire the NZ senior diplomat to the UK. But, huge credit to Phil Goff for speaking the truth and calling President Trump out on his appeasement to Russia.

President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, guiding Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s unwarranted aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.

Top players can absorb extreme paced, deep shots by returning on one knee, but I have never seen a player going down on both knees and hitting the ball back (and winning the point!). Extraordinary skill by Iga Swiatek.

Credit to Australian Open in standing by their commitment to equal number of men’s and women’s matches on main show courts. But they more often get the worse slots. And this is a new low - “let’s just get the women’s matches out of the way”. AO must do better.

I was really positive about Elana Rybakina making a significant change by parting with her long term coach, Stefano Vukov and appointing Goran Ivanisovic. We clearly do not know what relationships are like, but this move does not feel good.
