Didn’t see you there!
Following the trail of breadcrumbs…
oh well!
so what?
i believe the Coachella grounds are an independent duchy, distinct from USA. like Vatican City.
The third season of cringe-core meta-comedy “The Comeback” has returned to television with all of its nasty backstage satire intact. And as @johnsemley3000.bsky.social argues, it’s got plenty of material to pull from.
that old battleaxe Icey Spoon is gonna be eating Trump for lunch!
In @thestar.com today, I weigh in on the most pressing issue of the day: TDS. That is, Trudeau Derangement Syndrome. www.thestar.com/opinion/cont...
No!!! I literally believe it is an MKULTRA level CIA intelligence operation!!!
Don't watch enough ball to have a take, but nevertheless, sort of tired of this "Steph Curry" business. Predictable. It's like when you get into the third act of a Mission: Impossible movie and the chips are down and then someone turns the table by peeling off a mask. Boring.
I would throw myself into a wood chipper for Valerie Cherish.
I mean if the idea of that “psy-op” is literally a military term, fine. but it’s only in the headline, which writers famously don’t write, and mentioned once in the body of the article, linked to a jokey tweet, in the context of it being used as a pejorative to dismiss the band’s success.
I also don’t get what about my initial report, which wasn’t even a “take,” was “militarized.” Literally all I did was email the agency to ask if they worked with these bands, and if they scrubbed the info, and they said “yes” to both. I like the band!
My GOAT. ❤️❤️❤️
It is very funny to advertise yourself as a “No BS” pop culture podcast. Yeah absolutely, there’s no room for bullshit when you talk about the Super Mario Galaxy movie on a podcast, that time is sacred. Just give me the damn facts!
also these aren’t even my opinions! it’s a news article about the marketing tactics and how they’re being perceived. I actually loved Getting Killed, for whatever that’s worth.
fixing!
the article makes exactly that point. I think twice?
oh all headlines are clickbait-y!
I got a bunch of pitches last year about how Geese cracked the algorithm—well, surprise, it was a "narrative" marketing campaign. @johnsemley3000.bsky.social with the goods: www.wired.com/story/geese-...
Burner accounts, trend simulation, manufactured discourse: music marketers are embracing new online tools to get ears on new music. Is it just business as usual? And ARE Geese an industry plant?
I investigate music's dirty little secret, for @wired.com. www.wired.com/story/geese-...
In 5 short months my confidence in the Buffalo Sabres has gone from “they will lose any game I tune in to watch” to “they will win automatically because it’s Rasmus Dahlin’s birthday.”
I understand that. But I am working on a news item where I would need that to be proven/vocalized from a position of authority (not an academic or someone listed on paper). I don’t appreciate the sarcasm; but thanks for chiming in!
Right. But if that’s true I would need it to be proven.
Do I know anyone who would talk on record about—deep breath—the mental health risks assumed by ICE/DHS agents? Trying to gauge how “moral injury” will affect ICE and other border patrol officers, particularly those ones deployed in “highly kinetic” “theaters of operation”….
Nappigg to The Masters is GOATed when snoozing your head off is the vibe.
