Not to be a wide-eyed naïf about such things but... am I right in thinking that they levelled an entire building to get to one guy and *that* is not controversial to anyone in the American media or political class, only that this information was recklessly shared in an unsecured chat?
We are living in the dumbest possible timeline.
We had our first kid 10 months ago. We just filed taxes today and should get $1,200 return. This is in contrast to owing $1,600 last year. If we owed money again, idk what we’d do. Our kid has a chronic illness so we’ve got a bunch of medical bills. This tax credit is really appreciated.

We’ll be there in Minnesota. It’s going to be very cold. One tip for staying warm: Wrap a hot water bottle in a clean dry towel and put it in a backpack. You can periodically pull out the towel to warm up your face. Cheeks and noses are especially susceptible to frostbite and are difficult to cover.
I’ve got a small kid with a genetic condition that has the potential to be cured. Scientists are (were? idk) in phase 1/2 of human trials. I thought it likely that it’d get approved within 18 years, when my kid would be eligible for it. Now I wonder if it’ll happen at all.

I personally don’t have any attachment to the flag and won’t be using it, but I do like the idea of using it rather than desecrating it as a statement. Being unnecessarily inflammatory isn’t going to help anyone.
