Whoever suggest writers block is a symptom I thank you! It’s helped me more than any other writing advice when my brain is discouraged.

Finally realized why this MG novel was killing me. I didn’t give one of the POVs a flaw to give insight into him a little more. I think it feels great and this is the first chapter from them that I really loved. Revisions will be longer, product and enjoyment should rise with it though.

Had a crazy good writing sesh, felt like I found the voice of the character perfectly and instantly. Also got to lengthen a few scenes. Round 2 of this revision should be over soonish and then I’ll let it sit

It is the way it “creates” the art. It can only refer to art and then smash something together. As humans we can add onto existing art styles, concepts, themes and more, iterate upon those with personal experience and meaning.
