Deluxe Poly #wip - working some more on my UI toolkit, adding support for an editable text widget which will have a ton of uses in the software. Having written something like this before, it's a surprisingly complex thing once you factor in all the little details and features these boxes have. SFSG!
hah! The amount of stuff depending on an edit text box is incalculable. For playback I want a way to set global rate and frame timings - so edit box is #1 on my list today πͺ

The land at 31N 35E being 400m below sea level both blows my mind and complicates my terrain colouring algorithm π
Yes, once I figure that out :) Simple polygons are fine too, and dots and line segments for any noisy fringes.

Experimenting with digital elevation maps again and made a little tool that takes 16-bit elevation images and makes visible 8-bit PNGs with 500 m elevation bands, makes it much easier to see what's going on. Here's (most of) Hawaii. I used rampgenerator.com to help.
Reminds me that I've got a nice little MW2 wireframe painted up all glow-in-the-dark like.

Deluxe Poly #wip - Began experiments with a function that takes the trace photo (here, a red apple) and samples it at canvas resolution. I've incorporated that into a new "Pixelated" mode for the trace display. It uses 3x3 sub-sampling to remove aliasing -- This is Step 1 towards auto-tracing !
