That but also some other things I see sometimes. People are just really weird about this stuff sometimes.
People are so unnecessarily mean towards fan games and the like sometimes. It's fine to have critiques, but remember that it's not the same as trashing on a AAA commercial game. And that genuine feedback is actually really appreciated in fan-games, but snark helps nobody.

I got Star Fox: Assault running at a perfect 120 FPS in Dolphin at 1440p widescreen, with a HD texture pack. It looks and feels really good to play. The only issue though is that for some reason, the draw distance goes to crap in outdoor areas with the FPS hack.

Freya and Ralsei are friends and I couldn’t think of a better combo
Oh I don't mind her being in the games, and she did have a lot of potential to be more (her Dinosaur Planet characterisation is great). I more just find her popularity perplexing given how poorly the games treated her. She's arguably more popular/beloved than Slippy and Peppy, memes aside.
Having finished Star Fox: Adventures, and having previously played every other SF game, I do find it fascinating how Krystal managed to be just as popular as she is. I want to say it's more than just the obvious "her design is sexy", but like...she really doesn't have a lot going for her in-game.

Falco and Slippy find 6-7 hilarious and try to quote it all the time.
Fox "gets" it, but doesn't find it funny.
Peppy is constantly confused about it and winds up assuming it's some kind of code for a battle tactic.
Been ages since I tried Super Smash Flash 2, but I tried it on a whim again after seeing a YouTube short lol. Despite the lack of wavedashing and the like, it feels very smooth to play. The base movement controls are probably the best of any Smash-like game.
