The UFC will induct Demetrious Johnson into the Hall of Fame.

A candidate for MMA’s Mt. Rushmore and his induction was a foregone conclusion.

This looks really interesting so I'm hoping you're able to start the iOS version!

please mark me down for the iOS version if you get to it! I've been searching for an omnivore replacement since it shutdown and nothing has quite done the job.

Todoist obsidian plugin with various filters depending on the type of note (usually a template). Been using it for a year+ and pretty happy with it.

Jordan Breen is the only high profile person in mma history that nobody badmouths. His brain was shaped like a key to unlock the entirety of what makes combat sports appealing, disgusting, and appealingly disgusting. We didn't lose a good one, we lost the very best of us.

Anyone who had the opportunity to know Jordan Breen is probably at a loss for words over his passing.

There was no peer to Breen when it came to his knowledge bank, and it went beyond MMA.

Introducing Bases, a new core plugin that lets you turn any set of notes into a powerful database. With Bases you can organize everything from projects to travel plans, reading lists, and more.

@dancarlin.bsky.social I’m about to start this new CS show and I’m excited to once again hear your historically optimistic outlook on our political climate!

You’re gonna say everything will be OK, right?

It's hard for me to even put in words how disgusted I am by this. Are there even any explicitly Pro-Encryption super PACs in the US? If not there needs to be immediately. Money needs to be put behind this effort.

"Apple can no longer offer Advanced Data Protection (ADP) in the United Kingdom to new users and current UK users will eventually need to disable this security feature. ADP protects iCloud data with end-to-end encryption, which means the data can only be decrypted by the user who owns it, and only on their trusted devices. We are gravely disappointed that the protections provided by ADP will not be available to our customers in the UK given the continuing rise of data breaches and other threats to customer privacy. Enhancing the security of cloud storage with end-to-end encryption is more urgent than ever before. Apple remains committed to offering our users the highest level of security for their personal data and are hopeful that we will be able to do so in the future in the United Kingdom. As we have said many times before, we have never built a backdoor or master key to any of our products or services and we never will.”

Apple is pulling its Advanced Data Protection feature in the UK:

- Starting today, the feature is unavailable to new users in the UK.
- Timetable unclear, but UK users who have already enabled the feature will eventually have to DISABLE IT to continue using their iCloud account.
