to me, “you should create for yourself” and “you deserve to be acknowledged for what you make” are two statements that should coexist. chasing engagement will rot your soul, while being neglected will see your passion wither. loving what you make is a failsafe for when the engagement never comes.

i know that, in the day and age of there being so many scams, this seems like it's really just for me. it's not. i want to make sure my mom can get what she needs to get out of her situation.
