Everytime someone say "Capcom forgotten IP" I end feeling anger in my blood because it always reminds me one of the best hide and seek mechanic survival horror games ever made which they choose to forget it existence like nothing. Haunting Ground, my beloved, you deserve better.
It's hard to believe 2010 is now retro!

Love retro horror games but can’t play 'em all?
Nitro Rad’s YouTube channel is a goldmine—deep dives, no major spoilers, all great vibes.
But if you're ready to play for real, hit the link in our bio for original copies of Silent Hill, Haunting Ground, and more horror classics. 🎮💀

Silent Hill 4 had some of the most unsettling moments in the entire franchise, and I'd die on that...hill

Burnout 3 Takedown is STILL one of the most fun racing games I've ever played and it's not even close.
This is still one of the most unexpected and horrifying moments I ever experienced as a kid.
The cover for Mechwarrior's DOS release from Activision with a striking render of a mech exploding in flame in front of an angled photo of what looks to be a physical cockpit with overlays on it, put together for the shot.
Mechwarrior's Japanese release, here titled Battletech. "Solid 3D Simulation of Mech combat," with an anime pilot standing with one knee up on a peak next to a battletech.
Two flavours of cool Battlech covers: 1989's Mechwarrior! Battletech enters the world of 3D filled polygons, following on the release of Crescent Hawk's Inception.
I love the cockpit perspective and moody lighting of the original release, with the 92/93 JPN release adopting an anime aesthetic.
Chrome vibes, metal beats, and 3dfx Glide like it's 1999 all over again.
One of the rarest PS2 horror gems you've never played:
KUON.
Released quietly in 2004 by FromSoftware (yes, that FromSoftware), this japan-based survival horror is very rare and can go for nearly 1000 bucks, CIB.

Honestly, some of the best multiplayer gaming days of my life and I miss it so, so much.

I have been considering producing video content focused on long-form video game retrospectives for years now.
I think it's time to finally do it...
1993 might have been one of the best years for video games pretty much ever.
Y'all know The Retro Blast Podcast is about all of the special memories and fun we had with games growing up.
The games that made us who we are. The games we cherish.
Well, I've finally been replaying Superman 64 to prep for the new episode and...
How👏did👏this👏get👏RELEASED?!

That's credits on RoboCop: Rogue City. About as good a RoboCop game as you could hope for, let down only by its budget in certain areas like animation and some design decisions. Look forward to checking out the expansion once I can afford it.

The main interface for the game Fallout. The PC is currently in a cave; a two-headed cow corpse is visible screen left. Top center is dominated by the Pipboy view. Left are the player's current inventory (a rifle and two stacks of ammunition); top center is the PC's appearance, a grey green army man; middle is the current armor, some football-pad-looking leather armor; bottom shows the left hand is empty, and the right hand has a grey pistol. Top right are the character's key stats (ST 15, DX 17, IQ 11, HT 14, PD 2, DR 7, Move 7, Dodge 7), attack stats (Magnum, 3d bullet), Total Weight 10, Points 138, and Unspent Points -38. Bottom left is a log showing everything the player has looked at, an inventory button, the menu button, HP 14, FP 15, the left hand button showing Punch/Kickthe right hand button showing a Magnum, three toggles for action control, a Pip-Boy button, a Character Sheet button, a button for movement, and a mollyguard that would show combat options.

Did you have fun?
That's all that matters.
Okay, but no.

Just been tagged into seeing this, and while I'm overjoyed to see a Wii on display (what a beautiful thing it is 💜), I am wincing like everyone else at the NES cart there ;o;
Y'all know I love 90s point and click games, so I finally started playing Harvester.
... And HOLY SHIT!
