I made sure to let @gtelephant.bsky.social know about them before he got home last night and still scared him with them accidentally.
I like the characters and having just finished Act 1 I’m very invested in the story. But then I’ll have to navigate a platforming sequence or spend too long watching Lune’s fingers in the menu and remember that this is a real 7/10 ass game.
The game is mostly really good! I don’t really enjoy combat as a rule but it does a fantastic job of letting you feel really clever when you find a set of skills/pictos that that work together.
I should just mainline the story but that is not how I’ve ever played games. Instead every time I pick up the controller @gtelephant.bsky.social gets to hear about how much I hate the lack of a map.
I have been trying to finish Clair Obscur so that I can talk to @gtelephant.bsky.social about it but the game sometimes feels actively antagonistic to the way I like to play.
lmao
This is the best product listing copy I’ve ever read

The disadvantages of voluntarily registering a business for VAT doesn't include "what are you a fed?" so I'll just have to mentally add that.
The advantages does include "makes you feel like a big boy" (paraphrased)
I don’t think Mario Kart World quite hits the highs of 8 but man is it the most fun I’ve had with one of these in a while.
Harvest was my first thought. You’d also be expecting the aesthetic to match certain expectations but that’s true of Souls as well.
does everybody know about my favorite website, the embroidery tips page that forgot to close its <h3> tags
Make sure your RPG battle transitions, scene composition, and attack animations are at least as cool as this Taiwanese DOS RPG from 1995
I'm finally getting on Bluesky because I quit my job and I'm worried lack of daily human interaction will make me weird(er)
