Rimia A character sprite, or sprite for short, is the standing character artwork you see that has different expressions. I'm currently a character sprite!
Rimia But I could be in front of trailers on a movie set! The background informs the player of the location and helps establish the setting and tone.
Rimia You can't have a visual novel without the novel, that's for sure! The writing portion of VNs is just as important as the art.
