Portland arguably have the best player on both teams. Bibby’s threat from 3 point land moves the defence constantly and she hits a massive shot deep in the 4th. 17 points (3/8 from 3), 3 rebs, 4 asts. If Portland plays fast with 5 out they are going to score lots. #WNBA #EuroLeagueWomen
Carla Leite looks the best player on the court as Zaragoza have a big 3rd qtr. She’s such a weapon in transition, she’s borderline psychopathic on the court at times. Finished with 20 & 6 with only 1 t.o. I still have issues with her defensively but she was guarding a girl who wore a jetpack. #WNBA

I’m not sure having Chloe Bibby be a part of a stagger screen and then flare out for an open shot is her best game. I prefer to see her get herself set a little more stationary maybe through something like a dribble hand off. #EuroLeagueWomen #WNBA

Chloe Bibby has an equal game high w/ 2 of her teammates. She’s decisive on defence, setting good screens, always moving around the perimeter. She has 8 pts on 4 shots in 16 mins. Chloe feels more dangerous with the opals despite the ok play in this tourney, a lot more 2 woman action w/ them #WNBA
Portland update w/ EuroLeague Women 3rd place playoff. Zaragoza coach has made a strange decision 2 go 11 players deep with pretty even mins. Leite had 3 straight plays w/ back2back 3s & an assist & then sat for about 10 mins. She came back on cold, obvs. 6 pts, 5 asts @ half #EuroLeagueWomen #WNBA
I don't blame Martin for not wanting to play year-round yet - or maybe wanting to focus on whatever national team camp is happening in Spain - but it's a shame. She's more ready to give the W a shot than plenty of players who have. #WNBA

Update on Černivec’s draft pick Jocytė which may be of interest for Portland fans. Girona ran play action to get her free in the 1st half & she couldn’t find separation. Had back2back flashy dimes in the 3rd before being benched in the 4th before the game was truly decided. #EuroLeagueWomen #WNBA

I’m nervous at the long term idea of a starting back court of Carla and Iyana defensively. There isn’t a shred of switch ability between them and zero rim protection on the roster. I’m buckled in for a bumpy ride I think.

Smalls takes a complete back seat in the 2nd half on offence with her role basically to pass it as soon as she passes mid court. She made one drive from a beautiful dish by the stand out PG, Erdogan. Kamiah looks good switching on defence and has a couple of nice stops in the post. #WNBA
Zaragoza offence never clicks into gear (FG30%) and while Leite is better distributing in the 2nd half and keeping her hands active on defence, her pull up game goes awol. She fights her way to the line on a couple of drives but only hits 4-8 from FT. 12 pts 3-11 FG, 2-5 3PT, 4 AST. #WNBA
Kamiah Smalls has scored 9 points in the first half rather under the radar from only 5 shots but she hasn’t been able to get it going in the pick and roll for Galatasaray like the other guards have managed for her team. She’s had 3 turnovers to 0 assists in the first half. #WNBA
Nothing much to say about the Portland players who have been playing in the EuroLeagueWomen final 6. Bibby has had a couple of ho-hum games. Oblak isn’t playing for Galatasaray. Leite was hurt in the qtr final, started on the pine in the semi & has looked wildly rushed, as have the whole team. #WNBA
