A 3D render of a robot, meant to look like an ad. The robot is looking up at the camera, holding a crystal inside of a case. The ad says "In the beginning there was" over the robot's face. And "AUREATE PEIERIS" in large letters at the bottom. 'Every great mind begins with us' at the end.

Spent hours playing around with brain designs but none are quite how I want... and this one looks way more like a big gem than it was meant to.

But, an Aureate lab assistant holding another AI for an ad. Being a disembodied, open braincase is as vulnerable and near-death as it gets. #blender #b3d

Sorry reposting this because I forgot to put tags on it

I really need to get in the habit of doing that I’m probably damaging my algorithm reach

Absolutely incredible.

NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.

Watch with sound on.

A reference sheet of a scifi Medical AI. She is standing in pretty white livery, and then she is sitting there being emo and cringe.

I burnt out, so the text is unfinished, but I never thought I'd make it this far, so Lethe et al! In two parts because the image is huge.

I think a big difference is there was at least the *intent* to bring all the Alberts home. They threw them up in dogshit rockets, but none of the monkeys were meant to die like Laika.

There is also the simple fact these are based heavily off a friend's design so it would not be right to give out or sell, I think.

They are not, none of mine shall ever be public probably. I'm too attached to them as characters!

A very dark image of three robots, sitting around a table. They all have faceless wedged heads, floating above their body. Each has a glowing halo behind their head, as they hold cups of tea. The scene is lit almost entirely by the halos.

"In 1957, a small white dog from the streets of Moscow became the first of Earth's children to reach the stars, and she never came home.

Today, seven hundred and forty eight years after that first step, she adorns airlock vestibules and guidance consoles. Tailed miners wear her face beneath their suits. Technicians with flopped ears pray in her name before opening the hatch.

Every day, across a solar system and a humanity that has long outgrown its cradle, a hundred thousand step into space and hold on to the little white dog that will guide them home."

I'm not good at writing, but it's fun and sometimes a few lines just fall out. I need to 🥺 a friend into drawing an icon of the saint to use...

I've never done #PortfolioDay ... despite how long I've been at this I feel v much like a beginner. I'm Cassadia and I a lot of characters, setpieces, and random babbling about my scifi setting! Don't worry I don't ever finish any of it though.

In an old galaxy, most stars are red dwarves, moreso than irl, habitable planets(or ones that can be made habitable) would be even rarer.
Luckily metal rich planetoids are common. And a single one can make dozens of continent sized habs well magnetically shielded from the regular solar flares.

Would a... halo ring, even have enough mass to have a Lagrange point to balance a magneto-shield at?

getting there slowly.. redo hands and feet... in this future, you just throw a gear harness onto a standard long-duration eva suit, which is mix-and-match for... varying anatomies. and i have three SAR techs and a satellite tech all needing different gear. Burnout here I come!!!

An examble of them in use: A Space Umbilical tethering together two asteroid bases in orbit of a magma-covered planet.

i've just released some Space Umbilical Walkways.
Need to tether together and walk between some unwieldy asteroid bases or space stations, or perhaps a more adaptable approach to your docked starship?

I guess I went from writing short stories to a novelette. And I can't share any of it because I skipped way ahead in my writing. :(

The bridge of a futuristic warship. It is narrow, with consoles in a row, like the CIC of a submarine.

A 3D render of a new version of the warship's bridge. It looks like it is floating in space due to a wraparound screen, with consoles now arrayed ergonomically around the captain.
