2025 NYSCATE Digital Pathways Conference - March 31, 2025 We're looking for teachers and STUDENTS who are doing great things with technology in their classrooms. How are you impacting your school or local community? We invite you to apply to present at the NYSCATE Digital Pathways conference. Everyone takes different pathways to help others attain their best direction. This might be a Social Studies teacher who uses social media to make government relevant to student or the Art teacher who is working with students who want to be graphic designers. Students are becoming makers and teaching others about their passions. A presenter computer, projector and an interactive whiteboard or screen will be available for all presenters. Please indicate if you have any other technical needs, including specific software. You may bring your own laptop and hook it into the system that day. Internet is also available in all of the rooms. You may be asked to present more than once. If you need speakers, you must indicate that in the tech needs area. Please complete the RFP by Jan 22, 2025. If you have any questions you can reach Michelle Okal-Frink at mokal@e1b.org or (716) 821-7200. After the RFPs are reviewed all candidates will receive confirmation about the conference. *If you plan to do a hands-on workshop with Chromebooks or other devices please understand that we will not have enough devices for each person to have their own. Let us know if you pan to bring devices for participants.* Target presentations include, but are not limited to: Blue Ribbon Commission/Portrait of a graduate eSports Student Agency Digital Citizenship/civics Science of Reading Robotics Coding 3D printing Artificial Intelligence in Education Social Media Virtual Learning Maker spaces Creating Digital Content Metaverse We'd LOVE to have student run sessions - If you'd like your students to present that would be GREAT!
