Yeah. That’s because Brighton Fringe (like Edinburgh and others) is not an organisation so much as an open-access event. It doesn't book events, they tag themselves to a period in the calendar and add the Fringe logo
It gets confusing having official Festivals and loosy goosey Fringes simultaneously

Sorry. Not a venue. I should have said a travelling promoter coming to Brighton to take part in the festival. Same point tho

Not to defend ugly images (ai or human) - but that’s not Brighton Fringe marketing their festival
It’s a venue promoting that it is being used by artists during the festival
Any big system has participants making bad or ignorant decisions that should be called out- but it’s not the fringe’s doing
