Another resistance quilt finished this week. The eye is my own design, the letters are a fpp pattern by QuiltByNight, the rounded corners and black binding are meant to resemble the phones we the people are using to document the horrors and disprove the government’s lies about what they are doing.
I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

So, on Tuesday I was diagnosed with Lumbar and Thoracic Spondylosis. So I am doing six weeks of physical therapy to help. This also means I am taking medical leave from my job.

I think if we take away anything from the trans medicare coverage ban being taken out of the bill it's that pressure works. As stupid and futile as "call your reps!" can feel, we saw a direct result of it. Now you have to call and email your House reps saying you need the ICE funding gone.
