And here it finally is: Thankful that our paper "Gender in elections: The consequences of killing women activists" is out in the Journal of Peace Research (journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/...)

Some months ago at the La Terturalia Museum in Cali, I felt the responsibility to get a paper published that contributes to our understanding of what happens when women activists get killed.

A month has passed and I still think about the Summer School for Women in Political Methodology in Bremen. A big thank you to @gessler.bsky.social, Denise, @sophiahunger.bsky.social and Sophia R for organizing and to all the other participants who made this methods training so special.

Happy to have presented joint work with @juliakoebrich.bsky.social at the NEPS2025 in Barcelona. This is a new project and we got some many interesting and helpful comments --> new energy 🚀

- but at this very moment, he is making his dream come true and visiting Lenin's Mausoleum. We should not understimate how important leaders' prior experiences are for their willigness to persist and their dreams for the future.

For this paper, I interviewed high-ranking leaders of the FARC and verified whether Rodrigo Londoño had received military training in the UdSSR, which academic and non-academic circles claimed to be true. Only recently it is confirmed what he told me in the interview - that he had never been.
