I think I need to mute Victor Gideon tags for a while. Nothing against anyone enjoying him, and I’m glad people are having fun, but seeing it right now is kinda rough on me.

One day, I'll absolutely put the scenes we needed in RE4R between Leon and Ramón in comic form. Only sadness is that barely anyone will see em, and they won't count as canon, so what's the point... 🫠

And I know that's stupid.

This is why I can't enjoy Gideon fully. Because he got what I longed for Ramón to get in the remake.
Proper moments with the main characters, moments of being a fun villain to watch. Moments of camp. Proper screentime, proper moments to shine.

I wanted to watch newbies enjoy him. Wanted to have normies talk about their favorite moment, favorite memorable line, clip their favorite campy scene, favorite detail.
...And then they gave him NOTHING to DO.

I'm still heartbroken, even 3 years later.
I hate that there's nothing I can do.
I hate that this is what we're stuck with.
And I hate how affected I still am about it.
