Why does it seem like the Hawks play a more fun brand of basketball than the Sixers?

CJ McCollum is turning back the clock in the fourth quarter.
A 2-0 series lead for the Flyers.
Impressive
The Flyers are doing things to the Pens in the second period.
The Phillies and Mets are really battling it to see who is the most disappointing team in baseball.
Braves 4, Phillies 2. Kyle Schwarber slams his helmet as Ronald Acuña Jr. makes a terrific catch. The Phillies have lost five in a row. At 8-13, they are tied for their worst 21-game start to a season since 2000.
I’m all for a best of 5 first round series.
training camp in full swing 🤝
Oof. This is wild work.
Sixers going from Doc to Nurse
Maybe I’m wrong to feel this way, but the NBA playoffs mostly feel like a waste of time if your team isn’t one of the top 4 teams in the league that is considered a finals contender.
Or maybe the Sixers have me that jaded.
This is where you miss Embiid out on the floor because the big situation is already in trouble.
Bona getting two quick fouls in the first two minutes of the game is not ideal.
Not great to see Duran going on the IL, but I’m interested to see what Reyes can do at the major league level with how he’s hitting the ball at Triple-A this season.
It will be interesting to see if Kyle Schwarber is in left field today. When asked whether Felix Reyes’ OF defense is “rough” yesterday, Rob Thomson said he “needs reps” in the outfield. He being Reyes.
I see Murakami being one of the league’s best power hitters in his future. He can flat out hit absolute moonshots.
Yeah throwing a batting practice pitch there is not the greatest idea.
Didn’t get to post this here.
I asked Angel Reese about staying grounding between so much change in Chicago until landing here in Atlanta.
Reese got visibly emotional when answering.
Here’s video of that moment which I think is worth watching.
Seth Hernandez hasn't allowed a hit in his last two outings. He touched 100 mph today, his third time doing so. His secondaries racked up tons of whiffs over a career-high five innings. He's struck out 53.5% of his batters faced on the young season.
The 19-year-old might need to see High-A soon:
Atlanta’s core is on stage.
Angel Reese on why the Atlanta Dream:
“I can feel the sisterhood on and off the court … It felt like the right situation for me … coaches and a GM that believed in me was really important to me.”
Here’s the Atlanta Dream’s core with their jerseys.
Reeese continues her No. 5 in Atlanta.
VJ Edgecombe:
"I ain't scared of nobody. I'mma be honest. I'm gonna guard regardless of who you is I'mma try. And I ain't scared, I ain't gonna back up if you're running at me. You just gotta run me over or something man"
Paul George on VJ:
"He wants to see what I'm seeing, he wants to kind of just dissect the game and look at it differently. The relationship is just natural. He's been a little brother. I love the kid. He's a good kid, great teammate, he's an all around superstar"
VJ reacts to Nick Nurse saying that his play tonight was 'wild' lol
"I was tweaking a little bit tonight. I guess that happens when you let a kid play in such a high intensity game. I was out there having fun. If I gotta play wild for us to win, I'll play wild"
Fun fact: Andre Drummond has made 30 corner threes this season, third-most on the Sixers.
Think about reading this sentence in 2016.
Also, Michael Grady called a hell of a game.
LOL VJ
We’ll see what happens, but the Sixers making the postseason is a good accomplishment this year. They won only 24 games a year ago. Getting VJ Edgecombe and a relatively young group playoff reps is a great thing for the long view.
Ben Simmons made five threes across his entire Sixers tenure
Can these Sixers show up in the first round against Boston?
