Every year I grow a little more cynical about GDC, or at least... I've done my time. I don't need to spend the time and money and fly to the US for this. And then I see the winners for the Alt Ctrl GDC award and I'm like... god DAMNIT. I wish I could have a drink with these dorks.
That was a reallllllly enjoyable IGF awards ceremony, @karriebear.bsky.social knocked it out of the park. So many interesting games, so many good folks. Warms my heart and rekindles my love for games.
