EX188 is a great starting point for Red Hat certifications I’ve been working at Red Hat for for 13 years, so people will often come to me ask for guidance of where to get started with their Red Hat certification journey. So many people have heard of the RHCE - the Red Hat Certified Engineer exam, which remains one of the most respected IT certifications in the industry, let alone just Linux certifications. Many of these same people have years of Linux experience, but maybe haven’t taken a Red Hat certification before, or in a long time, and are looking for recommended next steps. While going straight for RHCE might sound alluring at first, aiming so high is probably an overly ambitious target to start with. If you think this might be you, then continue reading for some tips!

OliveTin is getting more security scrutiny; and it's a good thing OliveTin has been getting a lot of security scrutiny this week - as there’s been a relatively huge surge of security advisories come for the first time. I imagine that the project has been listed in a...

Don't underestimate the impact of compound interest, they said! In a game I'm creating, I added .5% interest per minute (per tick), and over 3 days 261 gold has become 707 billion gold! Now, how can I get those interest rates in real life?!

I know a lot of customers who waited for this - they've been using it in preview - and now will appreciate that it's GA! Put simply, this provides better security controls for those containers that need to connect directly to Azure resources on ARO: https://red.ht/49WpoB8

I've built a lot of apps, and I keep coming back to the web as the platform of course, especially in 2026. That’s saying something from a terminal addict and self-hosting enthusiast. PWAs + modern web APIs have crossed a threshold: offline-first, installable and performant, and can feel "native".

Well that's a first, my Wife complained her "internet was going slow"... it was.... the Ethernet connection had negotiated itself to 10BASE-T. Okay. Well, I guess we'll try re-plugging that. 1000BASE-T restored. Thanks Windows.
