Dinner with @tracyboggiano.com in Cambridge and now settling in for a couple days at HQ with the Redgate ambassadors before heading to SQLBITS!
Beautiful sunset for speaker dinner for SeaQL Saturday

We don't have Jackdaws where I live, so Claude and I are discussing the facts and quirks of these little weirdos in Rotterdam...:)
Strangest skill as a neurodiverse individual: know an earthquake before most everyone else...felt that!!
I needed the fire hose to put out my pc today as I uploaded a podcast recording from zoom to sharepoint. Gimme a cli, please.
I was getting coffee...:)
I’m obviously tired after lunch- I heard “right hose” and not write-host in powershell. WTH is right hose?? Time for coffee.
Who knew that code had pets??
Counting how many attendees in the conference I’m attending are tapping their pen or foot, bouncing their leg, doodling or working on a pc during the morning session. I see you, fellow neurodivergent folks…:)
About to fly out to Seattle, but enjoying the wildlife this morning on the river, including Adam and Steve, the happy gay, duck couple and the first goslings of the season… :)
Happiness is finding the entire season, full episodes of a show you've been wanting to watch on TikTok...:)
First goslings of the season!!
I decided my neighbor, Valerie's, lovely hyacinth, which was being visited by the Easter goose, was fitting for the day...:). Happy Easter everyone!
In these times, it is important to understand how essential it is to protect your peace and refuse the drama of the world. You so often deserve better than the world delivers. Yes, I like this bunny- it's a good bunny. 😊
Anybody else have arguments with Siri... literal fights where you tell Siri they're a piece of junk and it proceeds to look for directions to a junk service, which you threaten to discard it there if it directs you there? No, just me? :)
Living on the river, you get to know the wildlife. Geese mate for life, and this goose lost her partner, a hybrid goose two years back. I'm always saddened to see her alone...:(
Someone didn't like the plant they got at Home Depot...:)
Went shopping at vintage shops today and had lunch with one of the kids. I found a few things, many items I loved the style, but not the color…. So used fabric dye. A good burgundy or grey goes a long way to move colors to my palette!
For International Women’s Month, I'm sharing something from my diary that made a huge difference to me from my high school, guidance counselor, Celinda Mitchell. #datawit #celebratingwomen
why? :)
Runuculus, lavender and tomato plants today...:)
After 7pm and it's still light and not a cloud in the sky... prepped the front deck and planted some herbs. spring is coming...:)
I love that my husband has a family virtual get together every week, but 20 minutes of "Can you hear me?" "I think you're on mute..." etc. just about drives me over the edge... #HeadphonesON #1stWorldProblems
Before this guy stepped back, I already knew it was a woman he was training. He’s training her, but I feel uncomfortable with how much he’s in her personal space and for how long…..
There are two types of guys in the world: Cali guys who wear down coats in Cabo when it’s 72F and this type of guy from Chicago who wears shorts when it gets 1F above freezing:
This green cyber truck at Chicago O’hare has a hood latch that keeps coming loose in the wind… I think they may need to do a recall.
