I think a big part of the derangement of the average American is that they see people on their phone who are lying about how successful they are, believe that they're telling the truth, and then get mad that they aren't that successful right now.

I think you need to read Parker Molloy’s writings. She’s documented Dem failures pretty thoroughly. Obviously Republicans are 100x worse but people like Newsom and Buttigieg are conceding ground on trans issues (which you dismissively call ‘’making noise” here) is bad morally and bad politics.

But what happens if the AI hallucinates and puts words in your mouth you didn’t say? I don’t think it should be out of your hands for a doctor to feed your words about sensitive, personal, medical issues but an LLM.

This made my jaw drop. I would feel so violated if I were a patient in that hospital.

I have a 3yo & a 3mo. It takes nearly an hour to complete bedtime with 3mo (then 3yo bedtime starts). I could NOT fathom how I would do it on my solo nights - what does my 3yo do for that hour?? Turns out the answer is pay a teen to play with him. So it costs $20 for one of us to be out at bedtime.

She’s actually been quite open that despite maintaining her same diet and exercise habits, she had gained 30-40 lb of fat that weren’t healthy on her frame. She was struggling after kids and hormonal shifts.

My guess on the general population is they feel like Trump hasn’t fixed things being expensive and it’s getting worse, but that it was a problem that predated him and is just continuing.
