Both great for their use. I don't really see them as overlapping too much. One is a bokeh monster, the other a super compact everyday carry sort of thing. Looking forward to seeing your shots with the new one!

I have both, actually😄 I have the 18-50 for my Leica CL, because of the tiny size. Great performer for such a compact lens. The 18-35 is much bigger and heavier, but still not bad for covering at least three primes with F1.8 aperture. I also have the 50-100 1.8. Use them both on my Canon R7.

I have the old 18-35, and it's just an amazing lens. Heard the new one is even better!

Apart from the occasional storms, it's a very serene place😄

Thanks! There were a lot of these uprooted trees around. The challenge was to find angles without too many other trees blocking the view! That storm was super scary, the cleanup is still going on 8 months later😬
