Insane number from Vancouver. Well over +2 per game. That’s like a whole season difference for a good team, isn’t it?

Nice work. I got 955–close, but you got me!
Happy Tax Day, New York. We’re taxing the rich.
Could also be the Borealis Derby because of the train between the two. (Midway one still best)
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz made an unannounced visit to the Everglades concentration camp where she describes the inhumane conditions she witnessed.
I would like to talk more about how ICE shot someone else yesterday and he is in critical condition! The coverage is really horrifying because DHS is giving a similar story to the one they gave about Renee Good and so much news coverage is just buying it. Please talk about Carlos Mendoza Hernandez.
Love it!
Nearly 20 yrs ago in US Open Cup, Ricardo Sanchez ran over to the Minnesota Thunder supporters section after scoring & did this. The next yr he signed with the Thunder & fans nicknamed him El Perro Loco & sang a song for it.

It’s day 119 of the ICE occupation of MN.

The fight is focused on three shootings. But Moriarty’s office has opened criminal investigations into 14 additional cases of potentially unlawful behavior by federal agents during Operation Metro Surge, which started in early December and has wound down over the past few weeks.
Another important detail is 35% of the arrests were "collateral" rather than targeted. That means these are folks that federal agents swept up at bus stops and sidewalks as they roved the streets. That jibes with anecdotes but doesn't factor for all the "collateral" people caught and released. (3)
Federal officials said in public statements during the surge that they were targeting the "worst of the worst." The new data shows that fewer than a quarter of those arrested in Minnesota had a criminal conviction on their record. The vast majority were arrested for civil immigration violations. (2)
Thanks to a FOIA lawsuit from @deportationdata.org, Minnesota is getting its first credible numbers on arrests during the federal government's surge here this winter. About 3,800 Minnesota residents were arrested. Most from Latin America (only 106 from Somalia). (1)
Metro Transit seeks feedback on possible new fare structure for express bus services: a flat $3 fee instead of $2.50-$3.25 variable pricing, with $1 as the discounted youth rate up to age 18 (not 12). www.twincities.com/2026/03/30/m...
ICYMI - Samuel L. Jackson (!!) narrated this powerful video for Saturday's No Kings rally about the strength of Minnesotans protesting ICE:
"When your neighbors are being attacked and your communities are being targeted, you don't give up. You don't look away. You don't back down. You showed up."
Quentin Williams says he felt like he was moments from death after several Border Patrol agents piled on top of him and choked him on Jan. 7 while pursuing someone else.

Organizers estimate more than 200,000 people attended the flagship #NoKings rally at the Minnesota State Capitol, possibly setting a record for the largest single-day protest in state history.

J.I.: More domestic cup erasure! “It (CCC) is the only tournament they (Miami) haven’t won yet.”
Granted Miami haven’t been in the open cup recently, but they still haven’t won it. No wonder Garber is like no one cares about open cup! 😉
How can this go on for another 3 years?
We (then at Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition) tried to make Minneapolis Bike Week into this ~10 yrs ago. We had a calendar where anyone could host a ride/discount/whatever to encourage biking. We had probably 70 events/activities in peak year of it. It was pretty fun
Thanks for all your leadership during this crisis both out in the community and through policy
