I'm going home tomorrow 😭
Only until Thursday, then I'm in Sydney for a week and a bit.

I think I've spent less than a week at my own house so far this year.

The best thing about being an adult is you can go to the supermarket at 8:40 pm on a Tuesday night, buy a Viennetta, go home and eat the whole thing, and no one can stop you.

When I moved there 4 years ago the ex refused to buy a place near the beach, cause they're all older houses, so we bought an almost new place 15 minutes out of town. When we split last year I bought a nice 1970s place 400m from the beach. It needs work but you can't beat the lifestyle and location.

I love visiting Melbourne but the truly horrific weather means I could never live there.

The great thing about people with disabilities and injuries is they adapt and learn to keep on going and not let these things set them back.
I've a friend with double leg amputation and he makes sure he does everything he did before he lost his legs.

I used to have a colleague who had a partially amputated thumb, that she lost during a fishing accident. She called it "Stumpy" but managed to adapt and I hope you can do the same x
