Initially I used text from this Fromsoftware 1998 calendar, the text is still there in the final thumbnail but is barely visible, I thought it was too cluttered and didn't fit in
Forgot that I also used text from this Fromsoftware promo poster for "The Third Lighthouse" which was an ambiguous announcement for a new game after King's Field, Armored Core, & Shadow Tower. It was either hinting towards Echo Night or just the direction of the company moving forward
So it really was as simple as using the boat background (+ logo), the one clean Crea render from the game, and the blue stone render also from the game. Making it one of the least complex or chaotic thumbnails for one of these videos but fitting for a subtle game like Echo Night.
There are only a few widespread Crea renders, pretty much everything either uses the side profile or the glancing side profile. More renders exist but were sparsely used from what I could gather
For the Echo Night thumbnail, I wanted to try and recreate the ghostly look of Crea, although I didn't have much variety in print material for this one, so it was a pretty simple design
Now if only Fromsoftware had a King's Field making tool.......

I've said it like a dozen times but I will say it a million more, the Evergrace video wouldn't have been this big or complicated without your work!!! The novel translation was still enough to inspire me to do a whole dramatic voice acted scene & it was petty funny to read through the abridged parts

I also skipped over some PS1 games to jump to Eternal Ring & Evergrace, now I gotta go back too, I should finish covering all fromsoft's PS1 games by the end of next year :]
That'll likely be a 2027 project for me though, I have other FromSoft games to cover before EG2 and I also wanna take a little break from this game 🥲
For Evergrace 2, depending on how it goes, I might involve more people or other artists. I don't think I'll do exactly the same stuff and I still have to play the game, but since there's a Light Novel there might be some scenes I can do similarly
I'll pass the message onto the other artists! I really appreciate everyone who worked with me on this, it was very experimental for me as I've never put a voice acted scene in a video before and it turned out great thanks to all of them.
