Making Chlorine gas.
Using Hydrochloric Acid and Potassium Permanganate. Slowly release the HCl, the reaction causes chlorine gas to form. We collect this in the gas jars using blue litmus paper (optional) as an indicator. Chlorine gas is green and dense so we can always tell when the jar is full.
