braxton hicks contractions are the worst idea ever. looked them up and they're named for a man, OF COURSE.

"Dress down day" at school where kids can wear whatever they want. Email says most kids wear comfy clothes instead of uniforms. My kid goes to school in one of her fanciest dresses (pink) and halloween leggings.

Kiddo's Mandarin teacher had them do an activity about things they are thankful for. She brought home her turkey and proudly told me that she's thankful for Mama, friends, herself, and homework.

I guess the words she knows in Mandarin are a bit limited. 🤣
