“It’s difficult to cover him in a way that conveys how unhinged he is. Journalists are trained to be like, ‘OK, what did he say that was newsworthy?’ So you convey that to your audience. But in reality, when you actually watch, you see he's full of hatred, lying constantly, and very incoherent.”
And that was all within 5 minutes… Who knows what the next month will bring!
Last night was the final shift before retirement for SPC forecaster Mark Darrow. He’s been with SPC since it was called SELS in Kansas City, & retires holding the record for most SPC convective outlooks issued. Congratulations on retirement Mark! It’s been a pleasure working evenings with you.
Ladies and gentlemen... the weekend. (also: you are important and are not alone 🧡)
Remember all the times I said never to celebrate the death of another human being, because it just makes you look like a terrible, shitty person?
Don't be this guy.
Map of U.S., from coolwx.com, showing locations currently experiencing record-breaking temperatures. There are countless such locations in the Western U.S., with hundreds of red dots (locations breaking daily record highs) and countless pink dots (locations breaking March monthly record highs). The region of record heat extends from the Pacific Coast to east the Mississippi River, and from Canada to Mexico. The region of red and pink dots is vastly larger even than yesterday's (or the day before, or the day before, or the day before, same as it ever was, same...as it ever was...).
Incredibly, even *more* locations across U.S. are today experiencing their warmest March temperatures on record--many by a wide margin, with some even breaking April records. This includes most or all of: AZ, UT, CO, NM, WY, NE, KS, MO, IA, plus portions of many other states. 🫠

Time to just ignore people that either weren’t paying attention to the forecast or aren’t willing to learn.

Probably for the best at this point.
Someone puts hollandaise sauce on it.
The Fargo Woodchippers. It’s like a baseball player was fed into a woodchipper but not really its an animated logo style.
Some of the Minor League promo team names are ok but sometimes they nail it.
The Fargo Woodchippers.
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, Kristi Noem.
Very true, better delivery times too.
The MacBook “New Engine Option” has been released! I wonder if @airlineflyer.net will cover the orders and options now…
Trump's speech was under two hours, which bolsters the thesis that the leaks about it being more than two hours were meant to work the prediction markets
Only the best… Is it infrastructure week too?
"In Chicago, of 92 people arrested for assaulting or impeding officers last fall, 74 cases have resulted in no charges; in 13 cases, charges were filed and dismissed; and five charged cases were still pending. . . there have been no convictions.
