Our first asparagus last night. I thought I'd also share a pic of some wild asparagus I saw in Kefalonia.🌱
I luv 'em Jett!
Some delightful wild flowers at the back of a Greek beach - a brief clamber and the feast lies before you! Here 2 gorgeous blooms of Cistus creaticus.🌱

Hi Jett, why do clocks keep moving faster than we’d like?

Thanks as ever, Jett dear. Yes it was a wonderful, if not totally relaxing break, but as you know I’m never up for letting the world slip b!
Back home now but I thought I'd share some more gems I'd seen during my Greek holiday. This is the perfect time to see the hillsides ablaze with such beauty.🌱
Thanks Jett - yes, it was quite amazing!
Another view of the Melissa cave.🌱

The fortified settlement extends so widely, now at its floriferous best. And the magic of the past combined with vibrant life is intoxicating!
Rustyback fern, Asplenium ceterach, growing out of a huge stone that forms part of the ruined Mycenaean citadel at Razata, Kefalonia. Such an impressive settlement inhabited by so many different peoples over thousands of years. And how did they get such huge boulders to the top of this hill?🌱
A tiny section the ancient fortifications at Faraclata in Kefalonia. It was occupied from Neolithic till Byzantine times.🌱
Thanks!
It’s a delight exploring this treasure trove behind a beach. Here Bellardia trixago🌱

Nature’s garden is overwhelmingly beautiful 🌱
I was lucky to come across this Tamarisk flowering.🌱
You bet thanks, 😊Jett!
Cheers - thanks Peter!
Good morning from sunny Greece🌱
I should have added we’re going to Kefalonia, which doesn’t do gardens - we’ll have to rely on Nature’s garden. Spring flowers should be at their best, carpeting the ground. Lots of crawling on knees ahead!
You too! Have a wondrous time.
A walk round yesterday evening before setting off to Greece now.🌱
