I have done for nearly 50 years and will continue to do so. However, I don't see how Slot can turn this club around. It's been a whole season now and I'm not seeing any consistency, and not a lot of fight or togetherness

19/25 - better than I thought I'd do TBH
I can't see Joe staying TBH. He's been at the club for 10 years. Love his versatility but it's probably time to move on
Jota situation, but he's lost the majority of the fans. And the sad thing is he looks like he doesn't really want to win them back. He looks like he knows the writing's on the wall now at #LFC
I agree. He seemed very pragmatic at the start of last season, not changing too much, keeping the momentum in the squad. Winning the league definitely kept him in the job, but since he's implemented his own tactics/methods etc we've gone downhill for whatever reason. A decent guy as shown by the...
Really doesn't. We need one more promising CB (he may be in our academy in one of the guys we signed over the summer but I'm not sure). VVD in his last year, Leoni back from a major injury etc.
Not necessarily...
Do you really think Slot can turn this around?
They were all good if not top players before their move. Complete lack of motivation from the manager and no real game plan. They look bad because of poor tactics and bad man management I would argue
Slot's handling of the Jota tragedy was exceptional. However, his motivation and man-management skills, and tactical nous have been (at best) lacking. The situation with Jota is a factor but only one of many. The lack of fight in the players is alarming, and the slow tactics are awful
I mean, a couple of well-placed nails would have fixed that. No problem.
Slot should go. Also (either should or will go at the end of the season):
Salah (obvs), Virg, Konate, Gakpo, Chiesa, Gomez, Ali (maybe), Jones, Robbo (maybe). Not saying I want all to go BTW.
Which would leave NO CBs and shortage of GK/MF/ST positions. Another rebuild and another transition year
The manager/head coach is responsible for team tactics and man management. I saw none of either today. 2-0 down and we were still standing with the ball waiting for them to come onto us. Wirtz/Ekitike our best players and he took them off. We made them look so good today. He needs to go
Sorry for the language but Pep Lijnders is a cunt #MCILIV #LFC
We play well then go 1 down then walk about with the ball. This could be a hatful...
Love this goal.
"Robbo, just put the ball on the penalty spot"
"Righto!"
Don't let the Galatasaray result fool you. This is where we're at and it's awful. Don't deserve anything from the game #LFC #BHALIV
And we thought English VAR were crap. How they disallowed the Macca goal is ridiculous.
UCL VAR:
I have been pondering it all season and have now reached the verdict that Slot should go. And I take absolutely no joy and don't relish saying that in the slightest
They were, but we had a shit team then and a passive manager. This year we have a pretty good (if not great team) and a passive manager.
The fact that we were playing like we were trying to hold a 1-0 lead over a team that's been a shambles lately is, in itself, telling. Knocking it across the back slowly and inviting pressure is a dangerous game. And I think every LFC fan could see the equaliser coming. Not good enough #LIVTOT #LFC
Should have been a foul before that. Fuck sake
Who barely plays? He should have a word with the head coach who picks the team...
I mean, what kind of suggestions are '#virginmedia throwing me:
If only we had a RB on the bench we could have used or something. Oh wait...
But for some reason Slot would rather put ANYONE in instead of Ramsay. I'm not saying he should have started today but at least play the guy. And how Gakpo is still getting games is beyond me
