in the last, like, 6 months i've noticed wayyyy more old posts have blogs that were banned. like every post with 2-3 comments on it, one or two users have been banned. sometimes its a whole thread. they're really just ripping out their userbase.

also GOD i hate the twitter/twitterlike format so fucking much. the way the past gets buried. the character limit. it makes me want to fucking scream what they're doing to tumblr.

i've been assuming for the last eight years that the tumblr porn ban was, like, them caving to legal pressure, but sites like twitter and reddit continued trucking with sex. and with it being painfully obvious how racist and transmisogynistic tumblr staff is its clear now that this was ideological

i remember being defensive of Samurai Jack's violently het ending when i was a contrarian 19 y/o but watching the pieces fall into place in s2 was like a slow moving car crash. i still havent watched more than the first few minutes of s3

like its a fine movie, i dont hate it or anything, i just think it does nothing particularly challenging or novel or exceptional. it has broad appeal and good animation and got really popular.

lets all be forreal and admit that kpop demon hunters winning best amimated picture is just a continuation of the oscars disrespect for animation as a medium
